Scholarship Program

Haverhill PAL Soccer is pleased to offer a
scholarship to two Haverhill High School seniors. Each scholarship is in
the amount of $500, one to a male and one to a female graduating senior,
who meets the requirements listed below. These scholarships will be
awarded in late May or early June each year.
Requirements:
- Students must reside in Haverhill.
- Students must be graduating from Haverhill High School in the
year of application.
- Applicants must supply proof of their enrollment in a full-time
college program and/or demonstrate their acceptance in a college
program.
- Applicants must have played at least 3 years of soccer for the
PAL program.
- Applicants must have played at least 3 years of soccer for
Haverhill High School
- Letter of Recommendation from a Haverhill teacher or soccer
coach.
- Completed 200-500 word essay explaining what soccer has meant to
you, how it has enhanced your school experience, the role that
Haverhill PAL played in your school soccer “career”, and what role
soccer could play in future school or life experiences.
- Completed submission of the attached
Scholarship
Application.
The final selection of the scholarship recipients
will be made by the Haverhill PAL Board of Directors with an award
presentation during the summer preceding college entry.
